He holds many qualifications including; a Master of Business Administration (Professional); Postgraduate Diploma of Management (Marketing) from Melbourne Business School; a Bachelor of Applied Science from RMIT and is an Australian Marketing Institute-recognised Certified Practicing Marketer.
Luke brings a wealth of experience in fundraising and marketing and is an effective and driven leader across the for-purpose and private sectors. He’s held senior positions across multiple industries, including health and disability at Vision Australia, aid and development at Oxfam, medical research at Cancer Council as well other roles in media and retail.
Luke has held executive positions, led large teams, uncovered powerful insights and developed effective strategies that, collectively, have driven revenue growth and made businesses more sustainable. Luke has also worked as a management consultant within the for-purpose sector to help charities develop marketing and fundraising strategies.
He now leads the partnership strategy and development of Respect Victoria’s primary prevention efforts, which is vital to changing societal norms around family violence and violence against women.
In addition to his leadership roles, Luke has held directorships with SEATT (a gender equality change accelerator) and Alpha Autism (Adult Autism service organisation now merged with Aspect), where he guided the launch of an award-winning national awareness campaign, Drawtism.
He is known across the industry for being passionate about the customer and their positive experience through authentic engagement. As a predominately self-funded organisation, Luke brings unique and valuable fundraising and marketing expertise to the Very Special Kids governance.
