Very Special Kids is dedicated to developing meaningful partnerships to care for children with life-limiting conditions.
By working together we can provide greater support for our existing families and improve support for families that are not able to access our services. Through partnering with like-minded organisations that share our vision, we are able to create a greater impact.
Royal Flying Doctor Service
Royal Flying Doctor Service operates the patient transport vehicle to transport Very Special Kids living regionally between their home and the Malvern hospice as part of the Road to Respite program. The Royal Flying Doctor Service drivers are partnered with a Very Special Kids Hospice nurse or personal care worker to ensure the children receive quality care during the drive.
Red Nose
Very Special Kids has partnered with Red Nose for the past 10 years in the Creating Memories program, where bereaved parents come together to capture memories in scrapbooking.
