Nobody is prepared to face the realities of end-of-life care for, and death of, a child or young person.
There is no easy way to grieve or navigate this journey, but you don’t have to face it alone. At Very Special Kids, we can help you and your family face the things you never thought you would have to say, do or feel, with tailored and expert children’s’ palliative care services, advice, counselling and connection for your whole family.
Through our Bereavement Support Program, we offer emotional support and counselling, including sibling support programs, opportunities to meet and share with other families who have experienced a death of a child due to illness, and family activities and programs to help you create and sustain positive, lasting memories and connection, as well as respite, end of life and after-death care.
