CMC Property Services ball raises $88,000
CMC Property Services has raised over $88,000 for Very Special Kids at its 20th Anniversary Birthday Gala on Saturday evening.
The birthday gala was held in Malvern on the grounds of Very Special Kids, with more than 200 guests including CMC customers and partners, suppliers, friends and staff joined in the celebrations.
CMC’s Chief Executive Officer Paul McCann said that he was thrilled with the result. “We were hoping to achieve two key outcomes at the gala, to celebrate CMC’s achievements over the past 20 years and say thanks to our team, customers and partners. We also hoped to raise much needed funds for Very Special Kids through an auction, raffle and pledge. I am pleased that we were able to achieve both outcomes.”
“It costs $1,000 to provide one night of respite care for a child at Very Special Kids House. This result means that collectively, we have made it possible for 88 children to stay at the hospice.”
At the birthday gala, paintings, holiday packages and premium event tickets were sold off in an auction and raffle along with a pledge to raise money for Very Special Kids. All auction and raffle items were kindly donated by CMC partners, suppliers and friends.
A big thanks goes to Harry the Hirer and Big Kitchen Events for helping put the event on at our property in Malvern.
