An Amazing 24 Hours That Raised $205,000!
The 2012 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge was a huge success!
Thank you to all those who participated in the challenge.
The opening run was a lot of fun with lots of creative characters kicking off the fundraiser and some special guests arriving in the world's biggest pink Hummer.
There was an amazing turnout of people dressed in rational running gear as expected, but there were also many unexpected outfits. There were pretty ballerinas, pink piggies, Batman, The Gingerbread Man and Mexicans complete with hot chillies, tacos and sombreros.
In addition there were some special guests who joined us in the challenge – Cameron Ling, Daniel Jackson from Richmond,cast members from Winners & Losers, swimmer Matt Welsh, Coxy and Sherrie Lee Biggs from
Coxy's Big Break and teams from the Amazing Race. Channel Seven Weekend Sunrise did four live weather
crosses for the show on Saturday morning.
