Very Special Kids is fortunate to have a highly visual and engaging annual fundraising campaign known as the Piggy Bank Appeal. The Appeal runs throughout September with businesses, community groups & whole towns getting together to organise activities and raise funds for this important cause.
Now in its 16th year the Piggy Bank Appeal is well recognised throughout the Victorian community, who have come to identify the ‘Pink Piggies’ with the mission of Very Special Kids in providing support to families caring for a child with a life-threatening condition.
Throughout the history of the Appeal, our corporate partners have provided us with the financial and in-kind support needed to help raise awareness and reach our annual Appeal target of $1 million.
In turn, our corporate partners receive a range of tangible benefits and align themselves with a well recognised and unique ‘cause’ that touches the hearts of Victorians.
