Fundraise for us
Fundraising can be a fun and rewarding way for community groups, schools, workplaces, clubs and individuals to make a difference to the families of children with a life-threatening conditions.
Your fundraising efforts can us reach our $1 million target for the 2013 Piggy Bank Appeal.
It currently costs $5 million per year to provide our services to more than 800 families across Victoria. More than 70% of our income comes from fundraising and other activities in the community. Fundraising is an important and effective way for the public to get involved and make a difference to Very Special Kids.
Fundraising events for the Piggy Bank Appeal are only limited by you and your colleagues’ imagination, some ideas to get you started include:
organising a “very special day”, a “casual for a cause day” in your workplace, raffles, footy themed days, morning teas, movie nights or cocktail Fridays.

Fundraising can be a fun and rewarding way for community groups, schools, workplaces, clubs and individuals to make a difference to the families of children with life-threatening conditions.
It currently costs more than $5 million per year to provide our services to our 800 families across Victoria. $3 million each year needs to come from fundraising and other activities in the community. Fundraising is an important and effective way for the public to get involved and make a difference to Very Special Kids.
Fundraising events are only limited by your imagination and can include trivia nights, tin rattles, sports nights, food and wine functions, movie or theatre nights, fun runs and fashion shows. So think about what your friends, family or work colleagues would enjoy and start your own Event Committee to help put it all together.
