Retirement of Very Special Kids Chairman – Andrew Penn

Andrew Penn has announced he will retire as Chairman of Very Special Kids in May 2012.

Mr Penn has served on the Board of Very Special Kids since 2003 and became Chairman in 2004. He has also been a member of the Very Special Kids Foundation Committee since 2001.

“It has been a great privilege to serve as Chairman of Very Special Kids and an honour to work alongside such a dedicated and inspiring group of individuals who make up the Board, Foundation Committee, staff and volunteers of the organisation.”

“Andy has made an outstanding contribution to Very Special Kids. He has been a great leader, an inspiring mentor and a good friend. We wish him well in his new role as CFO of Telstra.” Mr Agnew said.

Mr Agnew also said “At the same time the Board is delighted to announce Mr Penn’s successor as Chairman will be Mr Peter Polson who will take on his new role in May 2012.”
