supporting families of children with life-threatening illnesses for over 25 years

Start the New Year by becoming a volunteer

Fulfill your news year’s resolution of giving back to the community by becoming a Very Special Kids volunteer.

We are proud of the hundreds of individuals who give so generously of their time to help us to support families. Very Special Kids provides two volunteer programs; the ‘Friends of Very Special Kids’ and the Family Support Volunteer Program.

You can choose to work directly with children and families by becoming a Trained Family Support Volunteer or you can assist with fundraising and administration work as part of our Friend Volunteer Group. We also have opportunities for Corporate Volunteering that are aligned to our corporate partner relationships.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer you will need to attend one of our regular information sessions. Here you will learn about the work and mission of Very Special Kids and how you can assist through volunteering.

The next volunteering information session is Wednesday 15 February at Very Special Kids, 321 Glenferrie Road, Malvern.
