corporate volunteering
Very Special Kids is very proactive in providing corporate volunteering opportunities for our established corporate partners.
These opportunities usually link back to the area of involvement the company has with us i.e. Sponsor of an event or appeal, may have staff engaged in the event logistics/management.
We tailor our corporate volunteering opportunities to the needs of our partners and they can be flexible in their timing (work days, weekends etc.) and are often conducted as a team building option for groups of staff i.e. 10-15 staff from a certain division or department.
Some opportunities may include light manual labour activities but most are centred on administrative support or fundraising activities. Due to the nature of our work with families caring for a child with a life-threatening conditions, we do not provide corporate volunteering opportunities that directly link to the care or interaction with our families.
