Very Special Kids 25th Anniversary Golf Day

‘Coxy’ from Coxy’s Big Break, hosted our 25th Anniversary Golf Day at Kingston Heath Golf Club on Tuesday 2 March, 2010.
 
The weather was perfect and the event was a fantastic success raising over $28,000 thanks to the generosity of our participating sponsor companies who supported us.

Thanks to everyone involved for making this event such a great start to our 25th Anniversary events. 

Once upon a very special night…when the magic happened

On Saturday 1May, Very Special Kids hosted a ‘black tie’ dinner to celebrate our 25^th Anniversary and to raise funds to support our work with families throughout Victoria.

The event was staged in spectacular fashion at the beautiful heritage listed grounds of Very Special Kids in Malvern where 250 special guests were treated to a ‘red carpet’ experience in a glittering marquee (kindly provided by Harry the Hirer) host Magda Szubanski entertained the crowd and our 25^th Anniversary Special Ambassador, Marina Prior delighted with some intimate musical performances.

The food and wine was also a highlight with a 6 course degustation menu prepared by the Executive Chefs and staff from Accor Hospitality and the Sofitel Academy who donated their time, did an amazing job!

The event helped us to raise a total of $200,000 for Very Special Kids and that is an outstanding result and will certainly help pave the way for our future.
