HR and OHS Officer
Very Special Kids supports families across Victoria throughout their experience of caring for children with life-threatening-conditions. To provide these services, we employa approximately 70 staff including nurses, social workers, fundraising and administration staff. In addition the organisation has over 200 volunteers involved in directly supporting families and fundraising.
We are currently recruiting to fill the newly-created role of HR and OHS Officer. The key responsibilities of the position are to:
- Provide Human Resources capability
- Manage HR including OH&S systems, policies and training. This will include a review of current systems and any rectification required
- Identify, establish and develop relationships with staff, volunteers and relevant third parties
- Support the Business Manager as required

Registered Nurse - Division 1
Permanent Night Duty - 0.6 Position
Very Special Kids House in Malvern provides respite and end of life care for children with life-threatening conditions and their families. Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team consisting of registered nurses, trained carers, a music therapist and trained volunteers. Our staff patient ratio of 1:2 allows the opportunity for high quality care.
We currently have a vacancy for a registered nurse for 3 rostered nights per week. Paediatric experience is essential. Palliative and/or disability experience preferred.
