GoldCare Selected to Manage Very Special Kids’ Unique Community Support Services
Campana Systems Pty Ltd., market leaders in healthcare management software, is pleased to announce that Very Special Kids (of Malvern, VIC) has selected Campana’s GoldCare solution to manage their community support services for families of children with life-threatening illnesses.

Local hardware store continues generous support
The Christmas spirit is alive and well with Glen Iris hardware store, Tait Timber and
Hardware owner Geoff Hayes generously ‘matching’ a funding grant of $5000 received from The Danks Trust - Project 150 for Very Special Kids’ ‘Life is for Living’ program.

Very Special Kids is proud to announce the official launch of the new Liberty Swing a recent addition to the playground at Very Special Kids House in Malvern, where children with life-threatening illnesses come for respite and end-of-life care.

A sensational $1,019,419 has been raised during the 2008 Very Special Kids Piggy Bank Appeal. The million dollar announcement was made by Australian Olympic Gold Medallist, David Crawshay and face of the 2008 campaign, Matthew Gaythorpe.

Bundoora Family Footy Day for Very Special Kids
Tuesday 15 April 2008 - If you are crazy about football and love supporting a good cause, then come along to the Bundoora Footy Day for Very Special Kids. Players are being sort for an Auskick footy match for the kids in the morning, as well as for the women’s and men’s matches held later in the day.

Piggy Bank Appeal raises $1.2 million
Tuesday 30 October 2007 - Very Special Kids is today putting out a very special thank you to all Victorians who gave generously to the 2007 Piggy Bank Appeal, feeding the piggy banks to the tune of $1.2 million.

Peter Costello opens AXA Wing at Very Special Kids House launching the 'Life is for Living' Program.
On 27 July the Honourable Peter Costello, Commonwealth Treasurer and Federal Member for Higgins, will unveil the AXA Wing at Very Special Kids with the announcement of a two year partnership between AXA and Very Special Kids worth $230,000 a year.

Special garden pays tribute to children’s lives at International Show
A unique display garden at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (28 March – 1 April) will pay special tribute to children who have died of a serious illness and raise money for Very Special Kids.

Rebecca Maddern of channel Seven opens art event for Very Special Kids
Rebecca Maddern of Seven News will officially open a collection of over 100 quality artworks by 45 local artists which will go on sale to raise money for Very Special Kids.
