At Very Special Kids, our services are sustained through the generosity of individuals, community groups, commercial organisations, trusts and foundations who contribute in many ways so that we can continue to improve the quality of life for families of children with life-threatening illnesses.
Our various fundraising appeals play an important role in raising the $4 million currently required to sustain Very Special Kids each year. By supporting one or more of our fundraising appeals, you are making a big difference to many Victorian families.

Piggy Bank Appeal

 Our biggest fundraising appeal of the year is the Piggy Bank Appeal. The Piggy Bank Appeal is held annually during September and includes five weeks of fun, community-based activities and events. The highlight each year is when our five giant pink piggy banks (each weighing 700kg each!) travel throughout Melbourne and Victoria to raise funds and awareness for Very Special Kids.
