Donations - Very Special Kids

Your donation will directly help in the care provided for kids with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Very Special Kids currently supports more than 800 Victorian families who access a variety of programs and services provided free of charge by professionals such as counsellors, nurses and carers along with trained volunteers. Your donation means that these families are not isolated in their experiences and have choices in the care that they can give to their child. In 1986 Very Special Kids opened Very Special Kids House, Australia’s first and Victoria’s only children’s hospice. For families who have children with high medical needs, there is no other respite care facility in Victoria that can accommodate their children while they take a much-needed break. Sometimes this can simply mean getting a full night’s sleep. Your support means so much to these families who would not have access to these vital services without ongoing financial contributions from members of our community like you!
