Our corporate partners contribute to all aspects of our work, enabling Very Special Kids to be there for every member of the family, providing respite care for the seriously ill child as well as counselling and support for parents and siblings. Donations are made from your pre-tax income, which is reduced by the amount of the donation – meaning that the tax deduction is immediate and guaranteed. Initial funding from the Estate was received in 1994 to build the hospice and refurbish our site, which is now called the Tattersall’s Very Special Kids Centre. Currently, as the Principal Sponsor of the Piggy Bank Appeal, Tattersall’s funds all the costs of the Appeal, which means that 100 percent of the donations given to the Appeal go straight to the services that Very Special Kids provides.
